American Family Association doesn’t expect to be sued by ACLU

American Family Association does not expect the ACLU to sue over AFAs new Christmas button. The button has a picture of the Madonna and Child and contains the wording "Merry Christmas, God with us."

"The button conveys a distinctly Christian message," said AFA President Tim Wildmon, "but since it is to be worn as part of the persons dress, there should be no problem." He said his group expected to distribute at least two million of the buttons.

"I cant see any problem with the button being worn at work even on government property. Wearing the Christmas button in no way affects the separation of church and state," Wildmon said.

AFA has distributed millions of Christmas buttons in years past. No legal action has yet been taken, or even threatened, against the ministry.

American Family Association is a pro-family advocacy organization with over 2.5 million online supporters.
