JR: Senator Reid, thank you so much for talking to us again.



SHR: Oh, its my pleasure.



JR: Senator, I just saw three polls today and all of them say you are going to lose next Tuesday, are you surprised?



SHR: No, we are doing just fine. Our polling is right where we want it to be. All these polls that you see are -- have been hammered by everybody. They are unscientific. Remember we have a law that you cannot call cell phones randomly. These are randomly dialed. Every one of these polls does not take into consideration the situation that you cant call cell phones. And theyre just skewed in so many different ways. Our polling shows us where we want to be. We are satisfied where we want to be. We believe that the Republicans know where we are, and thats why my opponent’s been so desperate doing some things that have been very, very, very mean spirited. We are happy with our polling.



JR: But talking about your opponent, an ad from your opponent, Sharron Angle says and Im quoting, that "you are the best friend an illegal alien ever had." Are you losing votes because of THIS kind of ads?



SHR: I am ... first of all understand her ads are totally without any fact or foundation. And I would also say this, every publication, Hispanic publication in Nevada, every publication, all of them, name any one of them, theyve endorsed me. They know that her ads are unfair, theyre unfounded, and some people have said theyre racists; others can draw their own conclusion. To think that she would never even denounce efforts made to tell Hispanics ...
