CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason announced that Pedro Rodriguez, 44, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder with a 3-year firearm specification and was sentenced by Judge Brendan Sheehan to life in prison with parole eligibility after serving 33 years in prison.
On October 22, 2010, Rodriguez, shot his ex-girlfriend Graciela Morales, 49, of Cleveland, while she was sitting in her SUV parked outside of her workplace, Park-Ohio, a manufacturing plant at 7000 Dennison Ave. Rodriguez then took her employee ID and used it to enter the plant and shot Eduardo Pupo, 49, of Cleveland. Pupo was Morales’ step-son. Rodriguez fled the scene and was apprehended by Cleveland police in his car with his gun.
