Niurka has starred in several Televisa novelas including Gotita de Amor, Nunca te Olvidaré, Vivo por Elena, Velo de Novia and La Fea Más Bella. Niurka catapulted to fame by portraying “Aventurera,” the main character in Carmen Salinas’ renowned play. She’s received Las Palmas de Oro, the Sol de México Award and the TV y Novelas awards for her acting roles on television. A star of stage and small screen, Niurka is a favorite of the magazines for her outspoken views and controversial stunts.
